• Allow events to be added from the total activist network events to teams, project pages, and personal profiles and vice versa. Right now they have to be manually reentered.
  
• Iphone app for grassroots organizing: look up people's profiles, sort them by various indicators, see their engagement level, see their voting history and political donation records, etc (check out Dem Dash and other systems)
• Have forms, wikis, and wysiwyg entry autosave
• Integrate Helen, Convio, online communities, Sierraclub.org, Action Alerts, and the many other technologies so that they work well together.
• Outings management: users want to have this be a robust tool integrated to Trails and allowing leaders to screen, approve, and accept payment for outings (among other outings-related functions).
• When someone joins a team, they should NOT have the option to join on behalf of a group.

  • Events box on the team page: just like the "view all" link at the bottom, there should be a "view all team events" link for teams with more than 8 events.

• Suggested related teams, projects, etc on the fly, based on keywords or issues (kind of like YouTube) where you get suggestions to inspire more networking and exploration
• In the personal profile "interests" field and in the tag field for projects and teams create a tag cloud or drop down list in order of frequency of use, so that people can choose from popular tags first
• The login process is complicated and fraught with issues. Accounts are often duplicated. This should be simplified, maybe allow login by email address or facebook login.
• Pull information from Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and other sites so we don't have to enter it all again (especially for the personal profile).
• Make an Add this to Sierra Club's Activist Network button for use on other web pages, to appear alongside Facebook+Twitter buttons. When selected it would prompt you to select which team, project, or resource to submit material to, and provide a link and the opportunity to write up to 500 characters. Even if it just posted to our personal profile blog that would be a help.

• Tie In with Convio to share Take Action buttons/pages. Two Parts:

1. A "Share This" button on the Convio All Actions Page would lead to a checklist for all the actions on the page. Select the actions you want to share, and they will be listed together on a results page. You have the option of
   
   1. Generating a permanent link to the results page
   2. Sharing the results page on Facebook, Wordpress, etc through "Add This" dialogues.
   3. Embedding the results page in your own website using an iframe
   4. Cut and paste the info into your own website.
2. The Activist Network and approved Teams don't have any mechanism to create Take Action buttons like these. It would be GREAT to be able to automatically submit material in a format similar to this http://action.sierraclub.org/site/PageNavigator/ROO_Resources and have Convio staff generate the buttons and pages. We could then post the link and forward the alert to our team.
   

• Make it possible to send a message or bulletin to members of entire teams or projects from the personal profile. - what news now that the dashboard redesign is in place?
• Bob Morris: add a hard-coded feature "You should have been there when..." to inspire personal stories and review exciting things from the past. Events: conference calls/webinars. We've entered "conference call" as the venue, selecting a region in pacific time and adding (x:xx Eastern Time). This is a little clunky- it would be better to have settings which make sense for conference calls and webinars.
• Want to filter the advanced friend search to JUST people who have joined the Activist Network (so you know a certain commitment to activism).
• Change Team box titles - the "Summary" box on the team page to "What We Do", the "Our Projects" box to "What's Happening Now", change the "How You Can Help" box to "Take Action".
• Here is a project dedicated just to what we'd like to see improved in the wiki.
• NOTE: Jenny Waggo started moving Workspace content onto Project pages, but the workspace tab has never disappeared. Simplify the AN by combining project and workspace pages into one category, with one tab. The only reason to have separate workspaces is if the workspaces are clearly subservient to project pages, and automatically link to the parent page (or multiple project pages). Consider the difference between a Project and a Workspace.

• List of sent invitations (to join a team) should include the date/time at which each invitation was sent.
